Punk wine – Abbot Xaver
Product detailed description
Why punk wine? Because it really is a bit punk. This Riesling is wild, unbridled and lively. The wine is in the same condition it was in when it was bottled at the winery. And why did we call it Abbot Xaver? Well, that's a bit of a dark chapter in the history of the Sedlec Monastery. Abbot Xaver was the last abbot of the local monastery, he stole the last remnants of money and fled to Germany. He begged for forgiveness in his old age and returned to Sedlec to ultimately die. Well, Sedlec’s history is not without its downs. The wine was grown on the U Všech svatých (All Saints) vineyard directly in Kutná Hora and was lovingly cared for by the employees of the winery Vinné sklepy Kutná Hora.
